The solution to greasy pet hair does not necessarily mean a trip to your local veterinarian or the professional grooming salon. With a little time and patience, your pet can become squeaky clean once again.
Groomer's Goop Professional Grooming Products can help. Groomer's Goop, professional grooming products help you degrease the fur without water which is followed up by bathing. The first step to gather the necessary items before bathing such as an apron (water proof if available), protective eye wear (goggles), towels, combs, brushes, Groomer's Goop Crème or Liquid degreaser, Shampoo and Conditioner.
Slowly place your cat in the sink, typically a kitchen sink with a hand held sprayer works best. With the coat still dry, slowly work the degreaser onto the coat, paying special attention to the greasy, oily areas as well as the legs, tail, under belly and arm pit areas. Once the degreaser is fully worked onto the cat, slowly add shampoo and continue to work onto the coat.
Once you have the coat fully degreased and shampooed, rinse the cat well. Reapply the shampoo. Slowly work the shampoo into the coat then rinse. Apply a small amount of conditioner to the coat and work in. Once you have the coat conditioned, rinse, rinse, rinse. You will continue rinsing until the coat is silky smooth and the water runs clear. Towel your cat dry. Blow drying can be done, keeping in mind a cat cannot tolerate the temperatures a hand held human blow dryer puts off on the high setting.
